It's crazy to think that I can love someone I've never even met in person. We've never been in the same room, I've never held your hand, and yet somehow, you've become such an important part of my life.

One of the things I love most about you is the man you are. I admire how responsible and disciplined you are, and how seriously you take your goals. You have qualities I'm still trying to build in myself, and somehow, you make me want to become better too.

I love the way you make me feel cared for, even from so far away. I love our conversations, the little things you do, and the things you say without realizing that I'll remember them later. Somehow, through a screen and all these kilometers between us, you still manage to feel close to me.

Maybe the most beautiful part is that we still have so many firsts waiting for us: the first time I see you standing in front of me, our first hug, the first time I get to look at you and think, "Oh… so this is what you feel like in real life."

Until then, I just want you to know that what I feel for you is real. I hope this new year of your life brings you everything you work so hard for. I'm proud of the person you are, and I'm grateful that somehow, life made our paths cross.

I really hope we get to be together soon. I can't wait to finally see you in person, to be close to you for real and to experience all the little things we've only been able to imagine until now. And more than anything, I hope this is only the beginning of our story and that we get to keep choosing each other and build a life together.
